Abstarct: Increasing uses of chemical fertilizers in agriculture regarding their hazards concerns toward replacing them with nano fertilizers which support both food security and quality. Zinc as one of the essential microelements has drown considcrable attention of rescarchers to use it in both as seed pre-treatment and foliar application to alleviate adverse effects of environmental stresses on plant growth. For this purpose, on experiment has been designed to study the agronomical and physiological response of green bean to seed pre-treatment and foliar application of zinc nano particle in research field of Shahrood University of Technology in 1394. Research treatments included seed pretreatment in 6 levels (zero, distilled water, common zinc in 2 concentrations (3 and 6 g/lit), nano zinc in 2 concentrations (3 and 6 g/lit) and foliar application of zinc in 3 levels (zero, common zinc and 4 g/lit nano zinc) as a factorial baxsed on randomized complete block with 3 replications. Seeds were pretreated for 12 hours was performed before flowering. The results indicated that 6 g/lit nano zinc seed pretreatment along with foliar application positively affected dry matter accumulation (184.22, 58.4 and 150 percent in leaf, stem and pod dry matters, respectively. 3 g/lit nano zinc pretreatment induced significant increase in stem height, number of branches, height the first pod to the ground number of pods in plant, weight of 100 seeds and seed yield compared to the other treatments. It is worthy to mention that accompaniment the foliar application showed beneficial effects for these traits. In addition, applying seed pre-treatment and foliar application of common and also nano zinc effecttivety impressed some physiological characteristics such as leaf pigments and stability of the plasma membrane. Nano zinc seed pretreatment with foliar application of both common and nano zinc induced antiofidant enzyms activity including catalas, peroxidase, ascorbate, super oxide dismutase. Nano zinc foliar application increased zinc content in leaves and. In other words, nano zinc, specially in heigh levels both in seed pretreatment and foliar application forms has more effects on traits within the treatments of this study.
