S21 : The Study of Micronutrient Fertilizer and Weed Management at Different Time on Yield and Yield Components of Osmoprimed Corn (Zea mays)

Abstarct: This experiment carried out considering the effect of different times weeds omitting and osmo priming of seeds with foliar application of micro nutrient elements in growing properties, yield and yield component of maize in research farm of agricultural faculty, Shahrood university in factorial experiment and in complete randomized block disign. The examined treatments included: weeds omitting in 3 levels: A1, A2, and A3 in order. Omitting until 2 weeks after becoming green. Omitting until 4 weeks after becoming green. Omitting until 6 weeks after becoming green. Seeds of osmopriming in 2 levels: osmopriming B1 and control B2 and micro nutrients included in 2 levels, foliar application with micro nutrient C1 and control with no micro nutrient C2. The result of this experiment showed that. The different times of weeds omitting had significant effect on yield and yield component that the most yields had obtained with weeds omitting until 6 weeks after becoming green. Seed of osmopriming had shown the significant increasing in all studied factors. Foliar application with micro nutrient elements also had the significant increasing in: yield of seed, biological yield, harvest index, height of plant, the number of leaf in plant, the number of corn in maize, the weight of corn, length of maize, diameter of maize, and the weight of 100 seed in comparison of control. But didn’t have the significant effect in number of corn row. The interactions of osmo and micro nutrient on seed yield attribute, biological yield, harvest index, height of plant, the number of leaf in plant, the number of seed in row, the weight of 100 seed, the weight of maize and the length of maize was significant. The interactions of different times of weeds omitting and osmo priming only on diameter of maize were significant. Also the effect of different times of weeds omitting and foliar application micro nutrient elements in diameter of corn was significant. Also the yield of seed and length of maize has been impressed by interactions of 3 treatments . In addition, the result of this experiment indicate that, the yield of osmo-priming or micro nutrient and weeds omitting until 6 weeks after becoming green, alone, or using of both together had positive effect in improving growing properties and yield of maize plant.
