Abstarct: There are more than 2500 aromatic and medicinal plant species in Iran, which 1730 species are only native to this region. Since immemorial time, people have gathered medicinal plants and animal resources for their needs. Even today, hundreds of millions of people, mostly in developing countries, derive a significant part of their subsistence needs and income from gathered plant and animal products for cultural and economic reasons. Demand for a wide variety of wild species is increasing with growth in human needs, numbers and commercial trade. With the increased realization that some wild species are being over-exploited and the might be endangered in the natural resources. It is necessary that wild species be brought into cultivation systems. Organic agriculture is an ecological production management system that promotes and enhances biodiversity, biological cycles and soil biological activity. It is baxsed upon minimal use of off-farm inputs and on management practices that restore, maintain and enhance ecological harmony. Other studies suggest lack or inadequacy in knowledge of fertilizer sources in Balangu is the reason of conducted this study. The experimental design was performed in a randomized complete block with a replication of three for 9 treatments on a farm at Torogh station in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center in 2012. Treatments were consisted of a mixture of three organic fertilizers (vermicompost, poultry manure and control) and three levels of nitrogen fertilizer (0, 50, 100 kg per hectare). The measured characters were included plant height, number of lateral branches, canopy spread, seed yield, seed weight, biological yield, harvest index, the mucilage of inflation, swelling factors and oil percentage. The results showed that the superiority of organic manure fertilizers with the application of vermicompost. It was caused an increased in many of the measured traits as the mucilage, oil% and swelling factors. The composition of poultry manure and 100 kg N/ha had significantly (p<0.05) effect on plant height and biological yield. According the result as organic fertilizer increased most of favorite plant properties and as well economic yield thus they are an alternative to synthetic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers like vermicompost provides nearly all the conditions plants need to thrive by enriching the soil with organic matter also improve soil structure.
