Abstarct: Iron has crucial biological role in both plants and animal cells. Given that nano fertilizers have started to be used in agriculture, it seems foliar application of iron in nano form may have an impact on better absorption by crop and eventually on plant overall health and survival once competed with the common form. Despite the biological importance of nano-iron, its absorption through leaves somewhat difficult, herein, use of additives to nano-iron was investigated in green bean. The experiment was performed in faculty of agriculture, Shahrood University in 2012. The treatments were is foliar application of iron in 5 levels (0, 0.25,0.5 common iron element, and 0.25 and 0.5 gr/Li for iron nano particles) and 3 levels of additives, namely 0, D.G ADJUVANT and RCP-5. The field trial was performed baxsed on factorial experiments in 3 replicated and the blocks were completely randomized. The beginning of flowering period, .i.e. 55 days post sowing date plants were treated. The results were indication of having the highest pod dried weight achieved at 0.25 nano-iron + D.G ADJUVANT, 54.86% higher than the check. The highest yield was achieved in the presence of D.G ADJUVANT and absence of Fe foliar application. In contrast, 0.5 nano-Fe + 0 additives the pod dried weight and yield were reduced significantly in comparison with application D.G ADJUVANT. The highest Fe levels in leaves, 311 mg/kg, and in pods, 51.47 mg/kg, were seem in 0.25 Fe+ D.G ADJUVANT. RCP-5 + 0.5 nano-Fe and no additives +0.25 Fe were showed to have the highest seed protein content, 19.40 % and 19.30% respectively. The highest cartenoid content and relative leaf water were noted at 0.5 Fe. In summary, Fe esp In higher concentration had greater effect on the studied traits. Moreover, nano-Fe + RCP-5 and Fe + D.G ADJUVANT impressive data.
