Abstarct: The study area is located in the Kohgiloye – Boyer Ahmad province, in 25 km southeast Yasuj city. baxsed on the division of geological, many of this area is located in Hight Zagros, part of that is in Folded Zagros and Kakan Fault as part of Hight Zagros Fault is located in between two regions. Paleozoic (Hormoz formation), Mesozoic (Kazhdomi and Sarvak formatins) and Cenozoic (Pabde – Gorpi, Jahrom, Razak Formations and Quaternary sedimentaries) have formed rock units in region. The main deformation in the study area are folding and faulting. Kachian syncline, Kachian anticline, Jahan abad anticline, Poze anticline and Dehnow anticline are important folds in the study area. Fold’s structural trend are NW – SE trend, they associated with the general trend of the Zagros fold-thrust belt. The analysis of data indicates that direction of slop of axial plane most of the folds are toward Notheast that could be affected by subduction of Arabian-plate to the Iranian center. Kakan fault is the part of the Hight Zagros fault as the main fault in the study area. The change in the direction of maximum stress (σ1) in anticlockwise changes in the axial plane of syncline – anticline Kachian, caused dominat right lateral mechanism as latest mechanism along the Kakan fault.
