Abstarct: In the present study, a simple and efficient approach is introduced for the improvement of the clean-up and applicability of the dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method in complicated matrices. For this purpose, two dispersive microextraction methods were combined and the tandem dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction method for preconcentration and simultaneous determination of trace amount of Citalopram and Serteraline by High Performance liquid chromatography was provided. In the air-agitated liquid–liquid microextraction method, analytes were simply back-extracted into acceptor phase, To obtain the best extraction efficiency, the effect of different parameters such as the concentration of donor and acceptor phase, type of extraction solvent and number of suction syringe were investigated. This method provided a good linearity in the range of 0.10–7.00 mgL−1 and detection limits of detection 0.01 mgL−1 for Citalopram and 0.002 mgL−1 for Sertraline and preconcentration factor of 99.1 for Citalopram and 100.0 for Sertraline were achived.
