QC302 : Study and investigation of structure function for light nuclei in 3He and 4He

Abstarct: Studying the nuclei structure functions is one of the essential concepts of nuclear physics and fundamental particles. By using the structure function, we can analyze the parton’s distribution in nucleon. One of the methods for calculating structure functions is using parton model. In this thesis, first we studied nucleons structure and types of scattering. Afterward, we investigated structure functions and EMC effect on parton model. Then, we obtained parton structure function and for and nuclei according to the quark distribution function and free nucleon structure function GRV model in NLO approximation. At the end, by using the obtained structure function, we calculated EMC ratio by considering Fermi motion and Binding energy effect on nuclei. Finally, we compared them with experimental results from SLAC and JLab Laboratories that they had a proper consistency with the areas of investigation.
