Abstarct: In this thesis we consider the location of traffic control cameras‎. ‎First‎, ‎the history of location theory is given‎. ‎Then location of traffic control cameras and introduce the origin-destination trip matrices and consider methods of solving them‎ be reviewed. ‎Also‎, ‎a method for estimating the place of origin-destination trip matrices is discussed‎. ‎Thereafter‎, ‎the problem of finding the best locations for installing traffic counters‎, ‎is considered‎. ‎Some algoritms are presented to solve the problem‎. ‎Then algoritms to solve the problem are compared‎. ‎In the end a case study of location trafic control cameras with maximize covering for Tehran is presented.
