Abstarct: In today's competitive environment, organizations are looking to save money and focus on core business activities, so they outsource some activities to outside organizations and companies that specialize in this area. One of the most common outsourced activities is logistics services. Logistics services include transportation, warehousing, packaging, and loading. Therefore, organizations outsource all or part of their logistics activities to companies providing logistics services. The correct choice of supplier companies plays an important role in the final success of the outsourcing process. Therefore, organizations should select the ideal supplier according to the criteria affecting the success of outsourcing. This research has attempted to provide a reliable model for selecting the most appropriate logistics service provider for school transport outsourcing. In this regard, six criteria influencing the selection of suppliers in transportation outsourcing were identified baxsed on previous studies and expert opinions, and data was collected via a questionnaire. After analyzing the data, four rules governing the outsourcing success rate were extracted using Rough Set Theory and Rosetta software. In this research, a combination of Rough Set Theory and Intuitive Fuzzy Technique has been used to analyze the data. The present study falls into the category of case studies and is applied in terms of purpose. The statistical sample of this research is 388 schools in Tehran that have outsourced their transportation.
