Abstarct: The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the personality dimensions of individuals and the occurrence of industrial accidents . In terms of purpose, this research is applied and in terms of nature and method of this research is descxriptive-survey . The statistical population of the study includes accident victims, non-accident employees and their supervisors in Shahid Kaveh Industries, who have been selected through the existing accident bank in the management of safety, health and environment of the mentioned industries between 2016 and 2021 people. The data collection tool is the Model 5 Factor Psychology Questionnaire of personality, interview and observation . This questionnaire consists of 60 questions and is distributed among 240 employees and supervisors . After entering the data in SPSS software, data analysis was performed using diagnostic analysis test, covariance matrix and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The results showed that out of 5 personality factors, two factors of extraversion and conscientiousness are significant in the occurrence of accidents by employees and supervisors.
