HA344 : An Investigation of the Impact of using blockchain technology on effectiveness of human resource management

Abstarct: The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of using blockchain technology (which has unique features) on aspects of human resource management such as hiring and selection system, training and development, compensation and payment, performance evaluation and communication and Information security that could be affected by blockchain technology , For this purpose, the Delphi futures research method has been used, which is baxsed on receiving opinions from experts who are active in the field of information technology. The selection of variables affected by blockchain technology has been done using background papers in human resource management. After preparing the questionnaire and the approval of the tutor, the researcher-made questionnaire was distributed among 147 people in the statistical community and acceptable answers were received from 72 people and according to the necessity of the Delphi method, it was done in two rounds, And expert opinions were obtained on the effectiveness of each item in human resource management. Finally, consensus was reached in 30 factors using central statistics tools (mean and Average). To ensure the reliability of the questionnaire, the Cronbach's alpha value was calculated by SPSS software and was equal to 0.940. The research hypotheses were tested using the structural equation approach of the partial least squares method using Smart PLS software. Findings show there is a clear relationship between blockchain technology and recruitment and selection, training and development, service compensation and payment and communication and information security variables , and no significant relationship was observed between blockchain technology and performance evaluation variable.
