Abstarct: Sustainable capacity planning in power markets is a challenging issue that has been received attentions by academia and practice. By considering the new technologies that use renewable energy sources for the power generation, this research study examines the environmental and social responsibility impacts of various power generation technologies by ARAS approach. Further, a simple multi-objective mathematical model, with social, environmental, and economic objectives, is proposed to decide about the installation capacity amount of each power generator type. Finally, computational results are presented baxsed on Iran data.
