HA212 : The investigating impact of Strategic Orientation on Sustainable Competitive Advantage By moderating of marketing capability (Case Study: private banks in Mashhad)

Abstarct: Given the complex and competitive global situation in today's banking industry, it is very difficult to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of strategic orientation on sustainable competitive advantage by moderating marketing capability in private banks in Mashhad. Structural equations were performed. The statistical population of this study is equal to 364 branches of all private banking branches in Mashhad. baxsed on the Cochran formula and according to the Morgan table, proportional to the size of society, 187 bank branches were selected by simple random sampling method. The data gathering tool is the Strategic Orientation and Marketing Questionnaire Questionnaire (2012) and Saeidi's Competitive Advice Questionnaire (2014), whose validity and reliability are baxsed on the results of data analysis and output values of the measurement model in SmartPlus Solution , Was examined. The results showed that the instrument of measurement of convergence, divergence and reliability (apparent, hybrid, shared) is desirable. Data analysis using descxriptive statistics showed that the average of all variables studied in research (including strategic orientation and its dimensions, competitive advantage and its dimensions, and marketing ability) are in the desired level. After examining the hypothesis, it was determined that marketing ability positively moderates the impact of strategic orientation on the sustainable competitive advantage of private banking branches of Mashhad, and the results showed in particular that the dimensions of strategic orientation (including cost orientation, customer orientation, competitivism And innovation) and marketing capability have a positive impact on the sustainable competitive edge. Therefore, looking for the result, managers and planners are encouraged to improve their strategic orientation and marketing capability.
