GV56 : The relationship of social responsibility and ethical climate with perceived sport performance ( A case study: vollyball plaxyers of north khorasan)

Abstarct: The sports clubs to perform tasks with the greatest efficiency and effectiveness, goals and missions achievement, in addition to observance of clubs rules, need a set of ethical guidelines. These guidelines help them and facilitate their movement to the ideal situation. Business ethics and social responsibility observance affect success of club through it' s increased legitimacy, profitability and improve competitive advantage. The aim of this study is determination of relationship between social responsibility and ethical climate with perceived sport performance. This study is a correlational and it was done with field method. Volleyball plaxyers of North khorasan were population of this research that attended club matches in 93-94 (N=216). All of population was selected in 18 teams as sample. After determination of validity and reliability, to collect data, was used social responsibility adjusted questionnaire (carroll, 1989), ethical climate questionnaire (victor & Cullen, 1988) and Perceived team performance questionnaire (Glenn, 2003). The validity of questionnaires were calculated by Cronbach’s alpha 0.83, 0.69 and 0.83 respectively. To test the Hypothesis were used Pearson's correlation coefficient and Path analysis. The results showed there are significant correlation between social responsibility and ethical climate and also between social responsibility and perceived sport performance. But there aren't a directly significant correlation between ethical climate and perceived sport performance. As well as there aren’t indirectly significant correlation between two variables social responsibility and perceived sport performance. Finally the model showed a good fit to the data.
