Abstarct: Objective: With the change in lifestyle and reduced physical activity, the prevalence of obesity is increasing sharply. Along with the prevalence of obesity, a lot of research has been done to prevent or slow down the process of obesity in the world. Although some studies have shown that leptin and adiponectin concentrations increase and decrease with obesity, respectively, some studies have shown different results. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of two interventional methods of LPG massage and aerobic exercise on insulin resistance index and leptin to adiponectin ratio in sedentary obese women. Method: This study is a clinical trial. The statistical sample of the present study consisted of 60 available people with a mean age (48.46 8 8.42 years) and body mass index (32.1 ± 4.05 kg / m2) and divided into 4 groups of 15: 1 Aerobic exercise, 2. LPG massage, 3. Aerobic exercise with LPG massage and 4. Control group. Aerobic exercise group in the first week 3 sessions per week for 25 minutes with an intensity of 55 to 65% of maximum heart rate (HRmax), in the second two weeks of training for 35 minutes with an intensity of 65 to 75% (HRmax) and in the second two weeks And performed the fourth exercise for 40 minutes with an intensity of 75 to 85% (HRmax). The LPG massage group underwent a 30-minute massage, and the aerobic exercise + LPG massage group performed a combination of both groups. Then, after fasting blood sampling, serum levels of plasma leptin, adiponectin, fasting glucose and insulin were measured with the relevant kits. Finally, for data analysis, from KS test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) to determine the normality of the data, from homogeneity test of variance (Loon test) to determine homogeneity between groups, to determine intergroup variability of the test ONE WEY ANOVA and then Tukey post hoc test were used to determine the exact location of the difference. Significance level was considered p <0.05 for all statistical analyzes. Results: The results showed in the group comparison, serum plasma adiponectin levels in the aerobic exercise groups (P = 0.0001), LPG massage (P = 0.0001) And aerobic exercise with LPG massage (P = 0.0001) had a significant increase. Also serum plasma leptin levels and leptin / adiponectin ratio in the groups of aerobic exercise (P = 0.0001), LPG massage (P = 0.0001) and aerobic exercise with LPG massage (P = 0.0001), Fasting glucose levels in aerobic exercise groups (P = 0.0001), LPG massage (P = 0.011) and aerobic exercise with LPG massage (P = 0.0001), Plasma insulin level in exercise groups Aerobic exercise (P = 0.012) and aerobic exercise with LPG massage (P = 0.0001), insulin resistance index in aerobic exercise groups (P = 0.001) and aerobic exercise with LPG massage (0.0001) P = 0.), body mass index in the groups of aerobic exercise (P = 0.0001), LPG massage (P = 0.006) and aerobic exercise with LPG massage (P = 0.0001) and body fat percentage in LPG massage groups (P = 0.0001) and aerobic exercise with LPG massage (P = 0.0001) had a significant decrease. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, aerobic exercise and LPG massage have been able to affect the secretion of hormones secreted from adipose tissue and be effective in reducing the complications of obesity by reducing plasma leptin levels and increasing adiponectin.
