Abstarct: Global development, mechanization and industrialization of societies have led to the spread of sedentary lifestyles and obesity among children. One of the major problems of obese children is their low level of physical fitness. The aim of this study was to aim to effect an active video game course (Xbox Kinect) with green tea supplementation on body mass index and aerobic power of obese sedentary girls aged 11 to 17 years. Materials and Methods: The present study was semi-experimental and its statistical population consisted of 60 volunteer female students aged 11-17 years in Semnan city who were overweight in four groups: exercise and placebo consumption (n=15, with mean age (1.64± 13.46) Years and body mass index (0.55± 28.55 kg/m2), exercise and supplementation (n=15, mean age (14±80±.97) years and body mass index 0.5±86.28 kg/m2, supplementation (n=15, mean age (1.84±53.14 years) and body mass index (1.04±66.29 kg/m2) and placebo consumption (n=15, mean age (1.41± 13.00 years) and body mass index (0±53± 28.63 kg/m2 were randomly assigned. Experimental groups played active video games for 8 weeks (3 sessions per week and each session consisted of one hour) and the control group was without training during this period. Then, the training protocol of height, weight and shuttle run test were measured for data analysis using covariance analysis and LSD tracking test in SPSS software version 20 at P<0.05 level. Results: The results of covariance test showed that there was a significant difference in the body composition variable of exercise group with supplement compared to supplement and placebo groups, but exercise with supplementation was not significant compared to the placebo group and also exercise with placebo compared to the group There was a significant difference between supplements and placebo. But the supplement group was not significant compared to the placebo group. On the other hand, there was a significant difference in aerobic power between all four groups in the post-test score.. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that active video games (Xbox Kinect) along with green tea supplements probably improve body composition and aerobic capacity in obese girls 11-17 years old.
