GV13 : Relationship between Self- efficacy with burn out in Golestan football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis referee`s

Abstarct: High sensitivity of the sport events and life on one hand, legal, career and family makes the referees as coaches and athletes are subjected to pressure and hysteria. The increased pressure causes burnout in many cases of these people. so the purpose of this descxriptive and correlation study was to investigate and analyze to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and burnout of the referees that are degreased 3, 2, 1, national and international football, basketball, volleyball and table tennis in Golestan province. The study randomly sampled 132 individuals who were referees, baxse on the Morgan were selected from among 200 active referees in league and competitions. For collection the data of the three questionnaires baxse on Individual characteristics and burnout caused by the judgment of Richardson and Weinberg (1992) and general self-efficacy schwartzer & Jerusalem 1981 were used. The instrument reliability calculated for judgment of Richardson burnout (α=0.76) Weinberg (1992) and general self-efficacy schwartzer & Jerusalem (α=0.78). For statistical analysis the results of descxriptive statistical methods (percentage, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (ANOVA and The correlation coefficient Pearson) in level (p≤0.05) were used. The research findings showed that self-efficacy and burnout in the referees soccer(r=-0.321), basketball (r=-0.434) and volleyball(r=-0.424) in Golestan province, there is a significant relationship. But between self-efficacy and burnout in the referees table Tennis(r=-0.086) in this Province, didn’t find a significant relationship. Also between individual characteristics age(r=-0.0202) and experience(r=-0. 180) with the burnout of the referees there was a relation. The results showed a significant difference between the burnout and education in referees. But between the burnout and the degree’s judging of the referees a significant differences were observed.
