Abstarct: Increasing demend of human society to underground excavations such as transportation tunnels and mining tunnels, require that construction techniques of this areas always must be considered by different researchers. For this purpose, an adevanced rock tunnel named K12 tunnel, of Tazare coal mine complex was investigated in this study. In this regard, geological information and extraction technical parameters for identifying the rock mass environment were collected. For choosing a proper blasting pattern design method, all available methods have studied. The Sarrois method were selected and this method is appropriate for small-section tunnels. Finaly the following results were obtained: reducing the specific charge up to 35%, improvement of muck piles fragmentation, reducing of fly rock and reducing the support system damage.
