Abstarct: Generally, in constructing underground spaces especially tunnels, maintaining them is of high significance. Concrete is one of the most used materials in maintaining underground spaces due to its features such as flexibility, plasticity, cheapness and convenient transportation. In spite of this, reinforcing concrete is essential because of its low tensile strength. One of the ways to reinforce concrete is using steel fibers in it. In this thesis we have conducted feasibility study of using fiber sprayed concrete as SARZEH tunnel lining and is compared to the traditional method of in situ concrete. baxsed on the performed modeling in various thicknesses with Flac 2D software, it is recognized that fiber sprayed concrete with thickness of 30 cm is able to provide the maintenance of the SARZEH tunnel. Moreover, due to economic and technical considerations, the fiber sprayed concrete has significant superiorities to the in situ concrete, since it requires less human resource and equipment for implementation. In contrast, it has more durability and resistance against external factors. According to the performed calculations, it is shown that duration of implementing fiber sprayed concrete for SARZEH tunnel is almost as half of the implementation time of the in situ concrete. In addition, the cost of maintaining this project with fiber sprayed concrete is almost as 44 percent of the implementing cost of in situ concrete.
