Abstarct: In this thesis, we propose a novel resource allocation scheme for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) baxsed wireless cooperative multicell cellular networks in which in each cell, two pairs of transmitter-receiver want to communicate via the baxse station (BS) while the BS serves as a decode-and-forward (DF) relay. In the first hop, the transmitters of two pairs simultaneously transmit their information and the BS applies joint decoding to decode the information of both transmitters. The BS then transmits the received information towards the receivers of both pair baxsed on NOMA technique. The receivers apply the successive interference cancellation (SIC) to cancel the interference from other pair. The SIC ordering of receivers is determined baxsed on the direct channel gain. We formulate the resource allocation problem as an optimization problem which is nonconvex. To tackle the nonconvexity, we adopt the successive convex approximation (SCA)with difference of two concave functions (D.C.) as the approximation technique to approximate the main problem into a convex one. We also study the computational complexity of our proposed scheme. Finally, we study the performance of the proposed scheme by simulations and compare it with the orthogonal frequency multiple access (OFDMA) to show the superiority of our works.
