Abstarct: In this thesis, the implementation of an active noise cancellation (ANC) algorithm on the TMS320555XX processor has been investigated. For this purpose, the existing methods for ANC algorithm were studied. According to the literature the FXLMS algorithm is one of the best methods to remove the noise by the active method. Therefore in this thesis the FXLMS algorithm was chosen. By using the wavelet packet to belong to filtered input signal of FXLMS algorithms reduce the system's error over the online mode. The average of the error cancellation for different inputs have been calculated to 5 dB. To implement a wavelet packet baxse FXLMS algorithm, we first built a proper hardware for receiving and amplifying the input. For processing the incoming signal processor baxsed TMS320C5509A hardware Designed and built a completely portable and can be set up by the battery. Simulation results show that the active noise cancellation baxsed improved algorithm methods well done.
