Abstarct: One of the methods of demand management is the use of non-motorized vehicles during peak traffic hours. Student traveling trips have a high share of travel during peak hours and business trips. To reduce precipitation at peak hours, traffic network managers encourage students to walking trips. Apart from the benefits of walking for the transportation network, some believe that walking benefits such as physical well-being, the increase of student social connections with residents of the neighborhood. As students increase their dependence on motor vehicles and frequencies, some researchers have suggested that active school trips can also reduce student΄s overweight. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of active school trips reduced student΄s overweight. Another goal of the study is to examine the usefulness of walking to school for health Physical. The results of the research on 999 students at all campuses in Bandar-Torkeman showed that the students were not less active trips compared to other students, and the distance of their active trips was not shorter. Therefore, their obesity factor is not the lack of commute or the distance of active travel. ANOVA analysis also showed that there is no significant difference between the mean walking distance of the overweight students and other students, as well as the correlation between physical activity and obesity. The study of physical activity in active travel showed that only 21.16% of students performed the minimum physical activity determined by the World Health Organization. In other words, physical activity in traveling to school is not so significant that it can have benefits for one's health. In summary, physical mobility for obese students is not enough to lose weight and reduce their BMI, and they should also exercise outside of school, in addition to physical activity at school.
