QC282 : Effect of height insulation on X-ray energy in plasma focus device

Abstarct: The plasma focus device have ability to products compressing plasma to very high density (~1026m-3) and high temperature (~1KeV).pinches plasma with the conditions have ability to emission many of Soft X-Rays pulses in the extensively spectra.Soft X-Ray have many applications such as medicine and lithography for reason its pulses and have extensively spectra,for this reason lionize by the scientist.We effort in this thesis that with the Shahrood university plasma focus device (SHUPF) measurement the Soft X-Ray variation of argon gas in the different voltage and pressure with insulator that have cognate and different length. In this process for guideline this thesis we use of below diagnostics for detection.1. Rogowski coil: for detections signals of current and derivative of current for knowledgement of pinches in the current sheath.2.Voltage prob: for detections variations of voltage.3.BPX-65 detector: for detections X-Ray signals out put from photodiode channels. After the perform experiment in the same conditions we found that in the stable voltage with increasing the insulator length,the Soft X-Ray energy that emits from device is decrease.also for the special insulator length with the increasing the voltage the hieghest average pressure for have maximum Soft X-Ray energy is increase.with study on the graph we found that for all insulator in constant voltage with increasing the pressure,value of Soft X-Ray energy is increasing and in the special pressure it has maximum.after this pressure,with the increasing pressure,value of Soft X-Ray energy start to decreasing. In the process of the performs experiments we saw multipinche.we measurement value of Soft X-Ray energy that emits from second pinch and we found that in the second pinch respect to first pinch,we have greater Soft X-Ray energy.
