HA26 : Analysis of Attitudes and Financial Behavior of Individuals, in daily processes of investment and capital allocation, focused on an Iranian society

Abstarct: This study is an attempt to analyze the trends and financial behavior of individuals in their daily economic and financial processes. So, it tries to generate a semi model of these attitudes and behavior by compiling a map or plan of financial behavior. Comparisons of economic and financial statistics of Fars, with the very similar province, Isfahan, caused the feeling that there is a need for such a plan. Investigating the statistics which are all from official sources represents deficiencies in Fars economic and financial mechanisms. Hence, particular assessments took place, in order to have a systematic view of the problem, analyzing five areas related to the subject. The five areas include: Behavioral finance, Personal financial planning and management, Money psychology, Capital markets and Investors psychology and the Sociology of economics. baxsed on broad studies which were conducted, and after signifying the most important data laxyers which form the financial behavior plan, an special methodology was designed for the study in order to obtain the required data. The methodology consists of following activities: 1- Design and implementation of an appropriate questionnaire that provided information with the least amount of error. The questionnaire was carefully designed. Besides, standardized questionnaires in related fields and also the professors, experts and consultants points of view were used. Reliability and validity of the questionnaire were assessed and confirmed using various methods. The quality of this questionnaire is obvious from the accuracy of the resulting outputs 2 - Data collection and demographic analysis in order to have a clear cognition of the studied society 3 - Exploratory factor analysis in order to find the structural factors 4 - Two-stage cluster analysis in order to find the financial behavior clusters 5 - analysis and comparison of the demographic distributions of the clusters and then testing the hypotheses using the binomial test, chi-square and T test. Finally, the obtained data were presented in a comprehensive way.
