Biography (About):
Farzad received his bachelor degree in Mining Exploration Eng. (geo-electric) in the department of Mining and Metallurgy at University of Yazd from 1999 to 2003. Since 2007 to 2009 he received his Master degree in the same field at Isfahan Univ. of Technology, His Master thesis titled “synthetic catalogue simulation in low seismicity regions based on Monte Carlo method” was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Nader Fathianpour (Isfahan Univ. of Technology) and Assoc. Prof Mehdi Zare (International Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering). From September 2012, Farzad is a PhD student working with Prof. Ali Moradzadeh in the Faculty of Mining, Petroleum and Geophysics at Shahrood Univ. of Technology (Iran).Totally his PhD research focuses on seismic imaging.
