Biography (About):
Dr. Abolghasemi received his BSc and MSc both from Shahrood University in 2005 and 2007 respectively. He was awarded his PhD in 2011 from University of Surrey in UK. He then worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at Brunel University, UK, from 2011 to 2012. Since 2012, he is with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Robotics Shahrood University as an Assistant Professor.
His main research interests include signal and image processing particularly in biomedical applications. He is an expert in compressed sensing, sparse signal reconstruction and dictionary learning. He also has experience in Terahertz imaging and OCT signals.
