Biography (About):
Dr. Shokrollah Zare is Associate Professor at Shahrood University of Technology. He graduated in mining engineering, BSc degree from Amirkabir University of Technology in 1995 and graduated in mining engineering-rock mechanics, MSc degree from Tarbiat Modares University in 1999. Subsequently, he worked in consulting engineers. He was involved as rock mechanics/tunnelling expert and project manager in underground projects. He received his PhD degree in civil engineering - tunnelling from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2007. After obtaining his PhD, he has worked as senior consultant, head of tunnelling and rock mechanics division and R&D manager for several tunnelling projects, teaching and conducting research projects, while continuing as academic staff at Shahrood University of Technology.
