Biography:
Dr. Alireza Arjomand Zadeh is assistant professor of chemical engineering at Shahrood University of Technology and the senior member of American Institute of Chemical Engineering (AIChE). He received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering-gas industry, with distinction, from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2003 and his M.S. degree was in the field of process design in 2006. He was awarded Ph.D. degree in 2015 where he specialized in optimal operation and real-time optimization of process plants. He has written several international conference papers, peer reviewed journal articles and a book. His recent publications are available in the university website. As industrial experience, he was involved in capacity revamp project of BidBoland gas refinery in Iran which is the first and one of the largest gas refinery in the middle east. He has DELF A2 official diploma which is a certification of language level for non-native speakers of French delivered by Ambassade de france en Iran-Le conseiller culturel. His researches lie in the field of process system engineering with the main focus on design, modelling, real-time optimization, optimal operation and control of natural gas plant. The final goal in this area is to provide solution for natural gas plant to operate in a safe, reliable, and economical condition.
